Mayhaps.
With meow getting taxel it is much more offensively threatening to this core. You may think, “wait, isn’t this prediction reliant, hindering its effectiveness into this core especially because glowking resists the grass stab?” Well, look at these calcs:
252 Atk Choice Band Tera Grass Meowscarada Flower Trick vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Slowking-Galar on a critical hit: 183-216 (46.4 - 54.8%) -- 64.5% chance to 2HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Protean Meowscarada Triple Axel (40 BP) (3 hits) vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Slowking-Galar: 315-372 (79.9 - 94.4%) -- approx. 2HKO
These calcs are important because it shows that meow is much less prediction reliant into this core then you may think, as the combination of taxel and flower trick beat both Glisc and Mola, even if in Mola’s case it is Tera dragon. Not only does it threaten immediate damage, it also breaks through significantly easier with knock off, which none of this core likes switching into. If Glisc does get in the position where it is a knock sponge, you can taxel or if it Tera’s just ftrick. Ftrick is pretty much free into Glisc as even without Glisc using Tera it still 2hkos and threatens both Mola and glowking. Want to Tera Fairy ur Glisc to avoid taxel? Well now you can’t switch in to flower trick and have to basically sack a mon if meow comes in. If they Tera dragon Mola, then you just spam taxel. Glisc and glowking can’t Tera and as shown before glowking can’t survive a 2hko from taxel. The only issue is that you can’t get too too aggressive with meow as it still does not like taking plus 2 facades and sludge bombs, but if you play halfway decently you should be able to maneuver around these 2 scenarios. Be cautious of when you Tera so then you can beat dragon Mola with taxel. Here are some more calcs:
252 Atk Choice Band Protean Meowscarada Triple Axel (40 BP) (3 hits) vs. 4 HP / 252+ Def Tera Dragon Alomomola: 438-522 (92.7 - 110.5%) -- approx. 56.3% chance to OHKO
252 Atk Choice Band Meowscarada Flower Trick vs. 244 HP / 0 Def Gliscor on a critical hit: 190-225 (53.9 - 63.9%) -- 89.5% chance to 2HKO after Poison Heal (2hkos after Tera grass)

Congratulations to dewfew for winning this week of Break this Core!

NatDex is currently suspecting Darkrai, with the possibly, that it remains in the tier, so let us find ways to beat this core around Darkrai:
Our new core will be Lopunny-Mega + Slowking-Galar + Darkrai!

With Sneasler’s ban, this Pokémon has gotten a lot better, making it my choice to break this core. Of course you WILL need eterrain support, but I’d still count this as reliable because you are almost always running this thing on eterrain Ho. I don’t need to explain how it beats Darkrai. Just make sure it already has the unburden boost! Same for mlop; fake outs and quick attacks aren’t dealing any real damage to this thing due to seed boost. For glowking, this guy is the whole reason we have substitute and….tera steel?! Ok it sounds weird but hear me out. It helps you setup a sub safely against glowking with fearing a fsight or sludge bomb; in fact, since you’re immune to sludge bomb, you basically have a free opportunity to just clean up a whole team, not just this core. Here are some calcs:
252+ Atk Tera Steel Hawlucha Acrobatics (110 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Slowking-Galar: 186-220 (47.2 - 55.8%) -- 78.5% chance to 2HKO
0 SpA Slowking-Galar Future Sight vs. 96 HP / 36 SpD Tera Steel Hawlucha: 96-114 (29.9 - 35.5%) -- 25.4% chance to 3HKO (While this seems bad, recall that without Tera steel we can’t set up subs safely against glowking and that fsight takes 2 turns to actually hit. Without Tera the combination of this and sludge bomb would probably beat Hawlucha)
252 Atk Lopunny-Mega Fake Out vs. +1 96 HP / 0 Def Hawlucha: 58-69 (18 - 21.4%) -- possible 5HKO (Good luck trying to fake out spam)
252 SpA Choice Specs Darkrai Ice Beam vs. 96 HP / 36 SpD Tera Steel Hawlucha: 104-123 (32.3 - 38.3%) -- 97.8% chance to 3HKO (Idk even know how you even get hit by this thing lol, but this calc is for fun. With Tera steel darkrai’s dark pulse has a slight chance to ohko, but it doesn’t really do any meaningful damage to Hawlucha, so an opponent would normally click ice beam or sludge bomb.)
252+ Atk Hawlucha Acrobatics (110 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Slowking-Galar: 186-220 (47.2 - 55.8%) -- 78.5% chance to 2HKO (You would actually be Tera steel here, but I didn’t want people to misread and think that this was Tera flying.)
Now imagine all Hawlucha can do to this core, but under screens….

Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Earth Power
- Psychic

- U-turn

This set is able to outspeed and one hit all of Torkoal, Gouging Fire and Raging Bolt in or out of Sun. It's able to still one hit both Gouging Fire and Raging Bolt if they Terastalise whilst having an extremely favorable roll to one hit Torkoal if it does whilst also being pretty unphased by it

Offensive:
252 SpA Choice Specs Tera Ground Landorus-Therian Earth Power vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Gouging Fire: 536-632 (152.7 - 180%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Tera Ground Landorus-Therian Earth Power vs. 80 HP / 0 SpD Raging Bolt: 560-660 (136.2 - 160.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Tera Ground Landorus-Therian Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Torkoal: 676-796 (196.5 - 231.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Tera Ground Landorus-Therian Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Tera Water Torkoal: 338-398 (98.2 - 115.6%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO

Defensive:
0 SpA Torkoal Lava Plume vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Tera Ground Landorus-Therian in Sun: 136-162 (42.5 - 50.6%) -- 1.2% chance to 2HKO
252+ Def Torkoal Body Press vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Tera Ground Landorus-Therian: 111-131 (34.6 - 40.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature

Pretty standard stuff right here. You 2hko Tork and can ohko bolt with eq (although on bolt it is a role). You can drag z gouging ez and switch in on it relatively safely because it has no dragon move. Not to mention you can sd against something like gouging and basically ohko everything.
Calcs:
252+ Atk Protosynthesis Gouging Fire Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Garchomp: 149-176 (41.7 - 49.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
+1 252+ Atk Protosynthesis Gouging Fire Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Garchomp: 223-263 (62.4 - 73.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (important because it leads to next calc)
252 Atk Garchomp Devastating Drake (190 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Gouging Fire: 524-620 (149.2 - 176.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Garchomp Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Torkoal: 186-222 (54 - 64.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Garchomp Earthquake vs. 80 HP / 0 Def Raging Bolt: 356-420 (86.6 - 102.1%) -- 12.5% chance to OHKO
These are all ohkos with an sd, but it can still break this core even without it.

EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

252 SpA Choice Specs Dragon's Maw Regidrago Dragon Energy (150 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Torkoal: 612-721 (177.9 - 209.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 SpA Choice Specs Dragon's Maw Regidrago Dragon Energy (150 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Gouging Fire: 972-1146 (276.9 - 326.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Dragon's Maw Regidrago Dragon Energy (150 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Tera Fire Gouging Fire: 486-573 (138.4 - 163.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 SpA Choice Specs Dragon's Maw Regidrago Dragon Energy (150 BP) vs. 80 HP / 0 SpD Raging Bolt: 1014-1194 (246.7 - 290.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Raging Bolt Thunderclap vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Regidrago: 112-132 (20.7 - 24.3%) -- guaranteed 5HKO
Even if Bolt leads and chips with Thunder Clap, you still OHKO everything with Dragon Energy lol
Tera Steel is being used for Tera Blast but you can also just run Tera Dragon if you want to push Dragon Energy even further for no reason.

Bolt + Tusk Core

V.S. Torkoal:
252 SpA Choice Specs Protosynthesis Raging Bolt Draco Meteor vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Torkoal: 577-679 (168.2 - 197.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Protosynthesis Tera Ground Great Tusk Headlong Rush vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Torkoal: 388-460 (113.1 - 134.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Defensive:
252+ Atk Gouging Fire Earthquake vs. 64 HP / 24 Def Raging Bolt: 232-274 (57 - 67.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Protosynthesis Gouging Fire Earthquake vs. 64 HP / 24 Def Raging Bolt: 300-354 (73.7 - 86.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Def Torkoal Body Press vs. 64 HP / 24 Def Raging Bolt: 107-126 (26.2 - 30.9%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

This basically allows Raging Bolt to secure a kill on one of the three mons and chipping a second, allowing Great Tusk to clean up.

:landorus_therian:

Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Earth Power
- Psychic
- Sludge Wave
- U-turn

This set is able to outspeed and one hit all of Torkoal, Gouging Fire and Raging Bolt in or out of Sun. It's able to still one hit both Gouging Fire and Raging Bolt if they Terastalise whilst having an extremely favorable roll to one hit Torkoal if it does whilst also being pretty unphased by it

Offensive:
252 SpA Choice Specs Tera Ground Landorus-Therian Earth Power vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Gouging Fire: 536-632 (152.7 - 180%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Tera Ground Landorus-Therian Earth Power vs. 80 HP / 0 SpD Raging Bolt: 560-660 (136.2 - 160.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Tera Ground Landorus-Therian Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Torkoal: 676-796 (196.5 - 231.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Tera Ground Landorus-Therian Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Tera Water Torkoal: 338-398 (98.2 - 115.6%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO

Defensive:
0 SpA Torkoal Lava Plume vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Tera Ground Landorus-Therian in Sun: 136-162 (42.5 - 50.6%) -- 1.2% chance to 2HKO
252+ Def Torkoal Body Press vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Tera Ground Landorus-Therian: 111-131 (34.6 - 40.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

Outspeeds everything and clicks:

252 SpA Choice Specs Dragon's Maw Regidrago Dragon Energy (150 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Torkoal: 612-721 (177.9 - 209.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 SpA Choice Specs Dragon's Maw Regidrago Dragon Energy (150 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Gouging Fire: 972-1146 (276.9 - 326.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Dragon's Maw Regidrago Dragon Energy (150 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Tera Fire Gouging Fire: 486-573 (138.4 - 163.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 SpA Choice Specs Dragon's Maw Regidrago Dragon Energy (150 BP) vs. 80 HP / 0 SpD Raging Bolt: 1014-1194 (246.7 - 290.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Raging Bolt Thunderclap vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Regidrago: 112-132 (20.7 - 24.3%) -- guaranteed 5HKO
Even if Bolt leads and chips with Thunder Clap, you still OHKO everything with Dragon Energy lol
Tera Steel is being used for Tera Blast but you can also just run Tera Dragon if you want to push Dragon Energy even further for no reason.
Garchomp @ Dragonium Z
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- Stealth Rock
- Swords Dance
Bolt + Tusk Core

Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 64 HP / 24 Def / 252 SpA / 168 Spe

Timid nature is for outspeeding most other Raging Bolt sets.

252 Atk Great Tusk Headlong Rush vs. 80 HP / 0 Def Raging Bolt: 426-504 (103.6 - 122.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
V.S. Torkoal:
252 SpA Choice Specs Protosynthesis Raging Bolt Draco Meteor vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Torkoal: 577-679 (168.2 - 197.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Protosynthesis Tera Ground Great Tusk Headlong Rush vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Torkoal: 388-460 (113.1 - 134.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
